There are two main investment routes available. The first is renting a property, with annual rental fees of EUR 10,000 in the South Region or EUR 12,000 in the North Region for a minimum of five years.
This option also requires a non-refundable government fee of EUR 98,000 and a donation of EUR 2,000 to a Maltese NGO. Alternatively, applicants can choose to purchase real estate, with a minimum investment of EUR 300,000 in the South Region or EUR 350,000 in the North. This route includes a non-refundable government fee of EUR 68,000 and the same EUR 2,000 NGO donation. Both options offer a clear and flexible path to permanent residency in Malta.
