Privacy policy.
This is a placeholder privacy policy provided as a starting point. The MW Immigration team should review and adapt the language with qualified counsel before launch — particularly for GDPR (EU/UK), PIPEDA (Canada), and CCPA (California) compliance.
1. Who we are
MW Immigration is a Canadian-licensed citizenship and residency by investment advisory firm. Inquiries are handled under banking-grade confidentiality protocols.
2. What we collect
When you submit a consultation form, we collect the personal data you provide: name, email, phone number, job title, nationality, and program interest. We use server logs (IP address, user agent) for operational and security purposes, retained for up to 90 days.
3. Cookies & tracking
Our website uses analytics and marketing cookies only after you grant consent via the banner. These include Google Analytics 4 (anonymised IPs), Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Rejecting the banner disables all non-essential tracking. You can change your choice any time by clearing your browser data for this site.
4. Lawful basis
We process your inquiry data under legitimate interest (to respond to your request) and, where applicable, contract (if you engage our services). Cookie-based tracking is processed only under consent.
5. Data retention
Inquiry records are retained for up to 24 months unless you become an active client, in which case applicable file-retention rules apply (typically 7 years for licensed advisory firms in Canada).
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by writing to admin@mwimmigration.org. EU/UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their national data protection authority.
7. Third parties
We share inquiry data with: Google (Analytics, Ads), Meta (Pixel), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Sanity (CMS storage). Each is contractually bound by data-processing terms. No data is sold.
8. International transfers
Service providers may process data outside your country (commonly the United States and EU). Where required, transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures.
